On the 8th of December, members of the Future World Diplomats club got together for our monthly meeting. As always, we chose a casual venue to allow interaction outside of university. It was great for us to welcome many new members and we would like to note there has been significant increase in attendance this term. We are hopeful that this number will continue to rise next term.
During the event, students took part in a quiz on topics related to international relations and the history of MGIMO. The quiz then encouraged further debates, which lasted several hours, on these topics. One of our club’s main aims is to connect students and to give everyone an opportunity to get involved in our university’s student life and we are pleased to say that this has been successfully achieved during this event.
We are excited to continue our events next semester and welcome more international guests.
