Future World Diplomats



FWD is an international students oriented club that provides an educational and practical platform to those students who do not have Russian as their native as well as those who want to improve their English.


  • To give students an opportunity to apply the theoretical skills gained in class to practice,
  • To experience the specifics of the future profession,
  • To communicate with foreign students and professionals in the field and gain new perspectives,
  • To acquire professional contacts,
  • To promote the image of our university abroad,
  • To exchange experience and think critically.


  • Russo-Balkan Student Forum in Sofia University of National and World Economy and the return visit of a delegation from Bulgaria. Students’ works were published in scientific magazines.
  • A joint video conference with the International Security Club and Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS) on nonproliferation of nuclear weapons and Iran.
  • Video conference with the Graduate Initiative in Russian Studies (MIIS) on the topic of conflict escalation in Syria.
  • An online seminar organized jointly with the Newpolis with Danone’s CEO Emmanuel Faber.
  • An excursion to the State Duma for students of the School of Governance and International Affairs.
  • A seminar on the topic of regional development with Duma deputy assistant and founder of the “Meeting the Caucasus” Forum Aslan Kaskulov.
